I’ve always preferred Noels singing voice to Liams, it’s got a purer sound, whereas Liams is more textured.
In all the Oasis discography, song list, whatever. The songs performed by Noel were always my favourites, especially Don’t Look Back in Anger. I think that Liam can sing one way, and only that way… while Noel can sing high and low at please. Sorry it is a bit difficult to me to explain since I lack of proper vocabulary.
I think that I found myself loving Noel after listening to their unplugged (1996?). The whole show is performed by Noel because Liam had sore throat, or that’s what he said. It is really beautiful.

When in 1995 I became fan of Oasis my favourite member of the band was Liam… but “little by little” and mostly because of Liam being a prick, I found myself loving Noel for who he was and what he was doing. Nowadays I still love Noel, and this love increases everyday… his solo album is one of my all time favourites, while I can’t stand Beady Eye… I tried, but I can’t.
No offense to Liam fans, I can understand that he’s loved by many people, this is just my personal experience, and my personal opinion.
